Vadim Anshelevich [1] Vadim V. Anshelevich,

a Russian American physicist, mathematician and computer scientist. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics on Kubo-Martin-Schwinger states from Moscow State University under Yakov G. Sinai [2], and researched and published on the structure of DNA and on Neural Networks. Vadim Anshelevich has been fascinated by the game of Hex since Martin Gardner introduced it to general public [3] [4], and is author of the first successful Hex program Hexy [5] , which won the 5th Computer Olympiad, London 2000.
