Timo Saari,

a Finnish computer scientist affiliated with Unisys Finland, and before from 1970 to 1985 [1], with the University of Helsinki. He worked with Juha Kasanen and Mika Korhonen on computer chess and chess problem solving programs [2]. They further wrote the mainframe chess program Shy for the Burroughs B7800/B7900, which competed at the WCCC 1983 in New York.
