Sjakk i Tromsø [1] Sjakk,

a WinBoard and since version 2.0 UCI compliant chess engine by Jacob Børs Lind. Sjakk was initially written in Visual Basic 2010 Express, first released as WinBoard engine and also with an own GUI in July 2009. Since 2012, Sjakk was ported to C++, as Sjakk v2.0 released on April 01, 2013. Since version 2.1, Sjakk uses a power of two number of entries inside its transposition table with an adjustable base 2 exponent > 0, which allows the faster index calculation replacing the modulo operation by bitwise AND [2].
