[ Gustave Doré - Satan [1] Satana,

Stefano Gemma’s chess engine creation, which played the 3rd Italian Open Chess Software Cup 2012 as part the 1st Clericus International Chess Championship [2], where Satana was subject of exorcism and played some games versus two Italian priests, and lost all games badly due to bugs since Stefano finished the software just the night before the tourney [3]. As announced by Stefano Gemma, Satana is his first engine, not written in assembly [4] but in C++ [5], starting to implement genetic algorithms [6]. Satana further played the IGT 2014, IGT 2015 and IGT 2016 over the board.
