Richard Hooker,

a British computer scientist and games programmer. Along with Tony Guilfoyle, Richard Hooker is co-author of the chess program Vaxchess and the Scrabble program Quetzal, which is based on Monte-Carlo sampling, and won the Gold medal at the 4th Computer Olympiad, Scrabble, London, 1992 [1].
