László Szalai [1] László Szalai,
a Hungarian computer scientist affiliated with the Institute of Wood Science, University of Sopron, Sopron [2]. As computer chess programmer, László is author of the Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible chess engine Crux, which participated at the 1st ICT 2001 in Leiden [3]. Back home, László organized and established the Hungarian Chessprogram Open, which had its first appearance in July 2001 in Sopron [4].
