Lawrence (Larry) Futrell,

an American computer scientist and now retired software developer [1]. He worked as an employee and later as a contractor at IBM, designing and developing Windows and Linux applications for asset management and software installation for IBM internal use. As graduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology in the early 70s, he wrote the chess program Ga Tech CP, which competed at the ACM 1973.
