KChess
KChess Elite [1] KChess,
a family of commercial chess programs by Rob McDonell, written in Delphi, market by his software development business company Ark Angles [2]. In the early 90s KChess’ development was inspired by Kaare Danielsen’s Turbo Chess program, and the KChess engine is still largely Turbo Chess with some code improvements [3]. KChess has its own GUI to run under Windows, KChess Advance [4] and specially the more sophisticated KChess Elite [5] focus on educational features and are suited for use with screen reader software for the blind or visually impaired [6].
