Hugh S. Myers,

an American professional programmer and web developer, and author of the Internet Chess Club’s chess client BlitzIn [1]. He further wrote device drivers for Saitek PC Auto Chessboard, the GUI of Eric Schiller’s multimedia presentation Zane: Dr. Schiller’s Chess Game & How to Play Chess [2], implemented sound and video portions of Kasparov’s Gambit, and published various PGN tools in Perl [3] and Python [4] [5] [6].
