Hans Kuijf [1] Hans Kuijf,

a Dutch chess player, bridge player, computer games and Bridge programmer, and most notably author of the Bridge program and multiple World Computer Bridge Champion Jack [2]. Already during the 80s, along with Nico Kuijf, Hans Kuijf developed the Chess databases NICBase and TascBase. Further, Hans Kuijf was involved in the Database programming of Chessmaster 6000 and 7000 [3]. He continued his work with Johan de Koning on the Clobber program Pan, winner of the 11th Computer Olympiad 2006, Turin [4], and was section editor of the ICGA Journal until 2012 [5].
