Grandmaster Screen [1] Grandmaster, (Boss, Grand Master, Grandmaster Chess, Schaken, Ajedrez II)

a chess program initially developed by Fritz Schäfer [2] under the name Boss for the Commodore VIC-20, later ported for the Commodore 64 and Commodore 16, and released in 1982 through Schäfer’s former Homecomputer Software company Kingsoft, and Audiogenic in the UK. The Spacious Mind considers Grandmaster as one of the strongest chess programs available on home computers at that time [3].
