G. Srinivasaraghavan [1] Gopalakrishnan Srinivasaraghavan,

an Indian mechanical engineer and computer scientist, guest faculty at Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, guest faculty and professional at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, and partner at Performance Engineering Associates, Bangalore. He holds a B.Tech. and M. Tech. in mechanical engineering in 1983 and 1987, and a Ph.D. in CS in 1992, all degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur [2]. His research interests include optimization problems, machine learning, distributed computing and Internet technology. As advisor of Rahul Aralikatte, he co-authored a paper [3] on Rahul’s master’s thesis chess program Phoenix [4] based on CuckooChess by Peter Österlund - who however came to other conclusions as the authors in trying the optimized piece-square tables in CuckooChess [5].
