Burton Wendroff [1] Burton (Burt) Wendroff, (born March 10, 1930)

an American mathematician and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of New Mexico and retired Laboratory Associate at the Theoretical Division, Group T7, Los Alamos National Laboratory. Along with co-author Tony Warnock, Burton Wendroff is primary author of the Chess program Lachex, which competed at various ACM Tournaments and World Computer Chess Championships [2] in the 80s and early 90s.
